Spring is in the air and so is our continuation of the celebration of the season of Easter.
This week, Rev. David J. Hanna will deliver the sermon “Unpopular Parables: Unjust Judge” based on readings from Psalm 139:1-10 and Luke 18:1-8:
In Luke 18, we find Jesus’ parable of the unjust judge. It’s a difficult one making it an “unpopular” parable. It brings to the forefront challenging questions, like: Why do some of our best prayers seem to go unanswered? This hard question prompts us to raise yet another crucial question: If we can’t have all the answers we want, are we able to trust God?
