This Sunday at 11:00 a.m. Calvary’s Worship Service will include a celebration of the Second Sunday in Advent.
We hope you will join us for this joyous celebration in anticipation of the fulfillment of God’s loving promise.
Worship Service begins at 11:00 a.m.
The Rev. David J. Hanna will deliver the sermon Heading Home.
Our faith is about going home. I want to invite us during this Advent season to understand that Advent is more than preparing for the baby to be born in Bethlehem. It is important to remember what God did in that moment, but it is in our memory, which means it’s behind us. Advent invites us to live toward what is ahead of us.
The Chancel Choir will lead the music.
Following the service, everyone is invited to gather in the Chalice Room next to the Sanctuary for refreshments and fellowship.
Education Programs begin at 9:30 a.m.
Calvary’s Sunday morning Education programs are open to anyone interested in joining discussions aimed at growing our faith together and applying it to our lives in the world. Classes are held from September through May and are open to both members and visitors.

All are welcome to join the enthusiastic and enlightening discussions of the Corner Cafe. The class is currently using lessons from The Wired Word, which provides a lesson each week weaving current events into Christian faith. The class is facilitated by a variety of church members.
