During this Thanksgiving holiday weekend, we at Calvary share with you our gratitude for the blessing of God’s love for all, now and always.

We welcome you to join us for us worship on Sunday, November 26, at 11:00 a.m. when we celebrate Christ the King Sunday, the final liturgical Sunday before the Season of Advent.

Student Pastor Ben Fitzgerald-Fye will deliver the sermon “Judgement.”

The Matthew text (Matthew 25:31-46) can be a bit daunting when we consider its heading, “The Judgement of Nations.”  Judgement is a word that scares us and makes us wonder how to avoid it.  The Good News is that this passage in Matthew is also one of the clearest statements from Jesus on how to determine the value of our actions.  Jesus reminds us that goodness is entered on caring for the least among us and the contrary action is simply defined as not caring.  This is one of the foundational statements of what it means to be a faithful community existing as the Body of Christ.

All are welcome to join us for fellowship in the Chalice Room after the service.
