We extend a warm welcome to all to join us Sunday, October 15, for education, worship, and fellowship.
We also look forward to you joining us on the front lawn for the annual Crop Walk at 12:30 p.m. It’s a short walk — you can do it!
The 11:00 a.m. worship service continues the sermon series Time, which explores the difference been Chronos Time and Kairos Time.
Chronos time is a void to be filled. Idle, dull are words that describe chronos time. It is measured by the humdrum movement of the clock. It is quantitative. Kairos time is different. It is those significant, meaningful moments or seasons that shape you for a lifetime. Kairos is vital, critical, expectant, opportune time. It is qualitative. We all live in a chronos world, but God’s kairos kingdom is unfolding around us. We just need to see it and not miss it.
Rev. David J. Hanna will deliver the sermon Time: Kindness.
One of the most significant signs of Christian faith is kindness. If we want to be effective witnesses for God, if we want to help demonstrate that the church is a place of God’s abundant love for all people, then be kind.
Following the service, please join us in the Chalice Room next to the Sanctuary for fellowship.
