This Sunday’s worship wraps up the sermon series, Wounded Healers. In this series, we are exploring how we, as persons of faith, respond to the hurt and brokenness, the struggles and troubles in life.
Worship will be followed by the a Spirit Fest where we will celebrate and learn about the ministries of Calvary, complete with ice cream and all the toppings!
We invite member of the Congregation and visitors alike to join us.
Rev. David J. Hanna will deliver the sermon Wounded Healers: Letting Go based on Matthew 14:22-33.
It must have been a soul-searching moment for Peter when he let go of the boat and step out on the water to go to Jesus. Hopefully, our soul-searching moments will help us to trust in God’s presence and power in our lives, and to move from hanging on to letting go. “Letting go” is a new level of trust in God. It is more than surviving life; it is about living life abundantly. It is more than struggling; it is about life that realizes the gifts of peace and joy.
We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
