Sunday’s Worship Service, April 2 at 11:00 a.m. is the fifth Sunday in Lent and will include Holy Communion.
During this important time in the Christian Calendar we are focusing on deepening our faith while we journey through the season of Lent.
Our worship style is traditional, but always contemporary in spirit, friendly, relaxed and graciously welcoming. We always extend a warm welcome to all who wish to join us.
The Rev. David J. Hanna will deliver the sermon Kingdom Value: Lost.
Bartimaeus is a model disciple in these ways: He calls out to Jesus. He comes to Jesus. He is the very image of one without anything to offer, a blind beggar. He expresses his desire to receive sight. He is not only allowed to see physically, but his perspective changed to a new way of seeing life – a way of salvation. And he followed Jesus on the way.
The service will include musical contributions from the organ and the Chancel Choir.
Following the service, everyone is invited to gather in the Chalice Room next to the Sanctuary for refreshments and fellowship.
