We invite you to join us for worship, education and fellowship at Calvary, where you will experience a church community filled with God’s love and a commitment to welcoming all.

At the 10:00 a.m. worship service, Seminarian Ben Fitzgerald-Fye will deliver the sermon This Little Light of Mine:

The parable of the mustard seed reminds us of the joyful reality that God’s Kingdom resides even in the smallest places and offers the potential for enormous, transformative potential.  Faith can seem tiny and even remote to us; but, like the little light that we let shine, it begins to grow and spread until suddenly change is happening, lives are changing, and renewed hope is taking hold.

Following the service, everyone is invited to gather in the Chalice Room next to the Sanctuary for fellowship.

Christian Education at 9:00 a.m.

Faith Alive! Practical Wisdom for Putting Love in Action: A Study of the Letter of James

This Sunday is the last in a four-week study of the Letter of James from 9:00 – 9:45 in the dining room led by Rev. Richard Cassel.  Traditionally believed to be written by James the brother of Jesus, this New Testament book is a collection of Proverb-like teachings, based on the teachings of Jesus, especially the Sermon on the Mount. It contains practical teaching of ways we put our Christian faith and love into action.

Everyone is welcome to attend!
