Calvary’s collection of Blankets for Arcadia has concluded.
October 17 netted 14 blankets, October 23 brought in another eight blankets. In addition, St. Vincent de Paul Society Thrift Store donated 33 blankets to this cause. That made our total 55 blankets. October 30 brought nine more blankets. 64 blankets is our grand total!
Wednesday, November 2, the blankets were transported to Arcadia Presbyterian Church for sharing with their members and neighbors. Don and Becky Becker volunteered their truck and helped deliver the blankets. Dory Campbell, Director of Community Assistance and Mission, organized the project and delivery.
