As we approach the Back to School Bash 2022, we pause to appreciate all of the hard work and dedication that goes into the B2SB. We are supported by several churches and civic organizations. The event distribution takes place on the 600 block of Church Street and relies on the cooperation and volunteers of Calvary Presbyterian, Graystone Evangelical Presbyterian, Zion Lutheran Churches and the Salvation Army. This huge community effort is hosted by Calvary Presbyterian Church. The BASH takes place on Saturday, August 13, 2022.
We recently spoke with retired teacher and school librarian, Louise Peterman . This is Louise’s 14th year helping with the Bash. When asked why she puts so much effort into this project, she said, “anyway to help kids realize the value of education and to encourage them to enjoy learning.” Thank you Louise!
