Compassionate outreach is a hallmark of Calvary’s community of faith and throughout the year, our members reach out to people in all walks of life, locally and globally.
We engage in local ministries such as the Back to School Bash, CROP Walk, Angels’ Wings and Family Promise.
We also support international mission through such efforts as partnership with a church in Rwanda.
Today, we report our final news on mission for 2016 with two successful efforts to help the individuals and families served by ICCAP (Indiana County Community Action Program), which included:
- Collecting more than 2,000 pounds (one ton) of food products in the year 2016 to help stock the shelves at the ICCAP food bank.
- Contributing 110 gifts and 18 gift cards for thirteen children, eight parents and grandparents, and two veterans from our Angels’ Wings Christmas tree.
Thank you to all who supported these mission projects — your good works do make a difference!
The following slide show provides a look at just a few of the many who helped make these efforts a success.
