Good Friday marks the death of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is called “good” because of what Jesus’ death means for the redemption of the world. The online spiritual practice has these aims: to help us prayerfully consider the events of Jesus’ death, to open up the meaning of these events for our understanding of the depth of God’s love, and to invite us to dedicate ourselves to a life of faith.
While several musical selections have been included throughout the practice, alternative selections are provided at the end of the document or you may choose to make selections from your own musical collection.
The guided spiritual practice, which you can view on the website or download to your computer is included at the link below.
