The Little Dress Project is a coordinated effort by Calvary Church to provide dresses or pants to children around the world who are in need.
There are three ways to participate.
FIRST, please consider joining us on Tuesday, January 31 at 12:30 p.m. We will gather in the Prayers & Squares Room to assemble packets for the congregation to pick up, sew and return. FYI, the items are a beginner sewing level project. You may want to take a few with you to sew together. Our work will continue until March 25th, when all completed dresses need to be returned to the church. We will arrange with Pastor Hanna to bless the dresses on March 26th.

SECOND, as you are cleaning closets and clearing excesses, please consider sharing surplus cotton fabric – 1/2 yard or more, heavier cottons (poplin, denim, gabardine, etc.) at least ½ yard in size, for little britches, new or gently used cotton or cotton blend pillowcases, extra-wide double fold bias binding – any color, washable, and leftover flat trims in at least 1-yard pieces, ¼ , ½, and ¾ inch elastic for dresses and britches.
THIRD, cash donations will help pay for shipping and any of the above supplies that we must purchase. Please mark “Little Dresses” on the memo line of your check.
A grey bin is at the Missions table in the Chalice Room for your supply gifts. Your checks can be put in the offering box. Thank you very much.
