Serving Neighbors in Need
Calvary’s highly successful mission program provides opportunities for the congregation to live out our commitment to being a Matthew 25 church. We believe a key part of our Christian mission is to serve our neighbors in need and to make a difference in our community and the world around us.
We serve as volunteers and/or provide financial contributions to local and worldwide service organizations. We work with local human service agencies, other churches, the Kiskiminetas Presbytery, Presbyterian Missions, Church World Services, among others.
We have programs that operate on a year-round basis, such as our Free Food Pantry and Care and Outreach fund, while others are seasonal such as participation in the Indiana community Back-to-School-Bash, CROP Hunger Walk, and Angel’s Wings programs.
Calvary strives to be flexible and responsive to critical human needs as they arise. To stay up-to-date on our ongoing mission activities, follow along with our weekly announcements located on the homepage of our website.
