We are a Matthew 25 Church
In the fall of 2019, our congregation accepted the PC(USA)’s invitation to follow Jesus’ teachings in Matthew 25 by becoming active disciples and making a difference in our community and the world.
Spotlight on Ministry
The Prayers & Squares members have been busy in their own homes making prayer quilts and prayer shawls for those who need a loving touch with prayer. They are given to members of Calvary who are going through surgery, having problems with their health at home, and are in need of prayer. Please say a prayer for the people who now have them, for the arms of the Lord to be lovingly wrapped around each person to give him/her comfort.
If you know of anyone, man, woman, or child, who needs a touch of warmth and the healing power of prayer, ask the person if he/she would like a prayer shawl or prayer quilt, then call the church office. The office will then let the Prayers & Squares know of the need.
