The Indiana County Back to School Bash is scheduled for Saturday, August 13, 2022.

The B2SB is an all-volunteer organization that collects and distributes school supplies to the “in need” children of Indiana County. All children must be registered, and qualification is income based. The Bash is run by a Steering Committee.
We are supported by churches and civic organizations. The event distribution takes place on the 600 block of Church Street and relies on the cooperation and volunteers of Calvary Presbyterian, Graystone Evangelical Presbyterian, and Zion Lutheran Churches.
The B2SB is made possible because of donations by churches, civic organizations, and individuals.
Calvary, and its location, is critical to the B2SB and to setting up the event. Calvary has also been the location where supplies are organized, and backpacks packed. The Church Street porch is used for the stylists to cut the children’s hair.
We give out backpacks filled with supplies, a $10 gift card for Dollar General for additional supplies, and recently a $40 voucher to the Salvation Army thrift store.
The Bash gets its backpacks from the national backpack program of the Salvation Army, at a wholesale price.
We use ICCAP as our fiduciary agent. Individuals can donate to the Bash by sending money to ICCAP. Church members can make their donation directly to Calvary with B2SB in the memo line. Thank you in advance for your donation.
We help ICCAP by recording our volunteer hours to aid in grant applications.
Please consider volunteering for this amazing and impactful event!
