Session

The Session is made up of Elders who are elected by the congregation to shape the ministry and mission of the church. Together with the Pastor, the Elders manage all aspects of the financial operations and the physical maintenance of the church building and grounds.  Elders demonstrate a spirit of compassion and a maturity of faith.  They work to strengthen and nurture the faith and spiritual life of the congregation and are actively involved in all aspects of the church community.

Deacons

The ministry of a deacon as set forth in Scripture is one of compassion, witness and service.  They model and express the redeeming love of Jesus Christ for the poor, the hungry, the sick, the lost, the friendless, the oppressed or anyone in distress.  Deacons visit those in the hospital and those that are homebound.  They minister to the needs of the congregation, rejoicing with those who rejoice, and supporting those in times of trial and sorrow.
